Multiply and round up number quiz online. This is an interactive online math test. Students are required to find the product of two numbers and round up their answer to the required value e.g. to the nearest ten, nearest thousand, nearest hundred etc. This activity therefore combines skills of rounding and estimating numbers as well as skills of multiplication. The focus is however the former. The rules of rounding up numbers depend on the place value they are rounding up to. For example if you are asked to round up to the nearest ten, look at the value of the last digit and see if it is above or below 5. If it is above, it will be round up but it is below it will be rounded off. Teach students in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades to multiply and round up to the nearest ten, hundred or thousand.
